File menu

Connect: connect to the Gnutella network.
Disconnect: disconnect from the Gnutella network.
Browse Host: connect to host manually.
Hide: keeps Deepnet Explorer running in the background although appears to be closed (to 'unhide' start Deepnet Explorer in the usual way, your session will be saved).
Exit: Close Deepnet Explorer and disconnect from the Gnutella network.
Exit with Options: closes Deepnet Explorer with exit and session options. For more on this feature click here

Edit menu

Cut: copies the selection in the active window to the clipboard and removes the selection.
Copy: copies the selection in the active window to the clipboard.
Paste: inserts copied items from the clipboard into the selected location of the active window.
Select All: select all items in the active window.

View menu

Standard Toolbar: shows or hides standard buttons.
Applications: shows or hides the application buttons (Web/P2P/News) on the toolbar.
Links: shows or hides the links bar.
Favorites: displays your website favorites on the toolbar.
Address Bar: shows or hides the address bar.
Address Bar: shows or hides the address bar.
External Tools: shows or hides the external tools bar.
Lock Toolbars: locks toolbars so that you are unable to move them around.

Windows Tabs: shows or hides the tabs bar
Control Panel: shows or hides the application control panel (Web/P2P/News)
Customize: opens the 'Customize' options window. For more on this feature click here.

Search: opens the search window.
Download: open the download window to view status of downloaded files. For more on this feature click here.
Upload: displays the upload window and files being shared. For more on this feature click here.
Library: shows the library screen to manage downloaded/shared files. For more on this feature click here.
Theater: shows the Deepnet explorer media player. For more on this feature click here.
Console: shows the console display. For more on this feature click here.
Hosts: displays all hosts you are connected with.
Full Screen: removes toolbars, menus & taskbars from view so more of the web page can be viewed on the screen. Move cursor to the top of the screen (or press F11) for toolbars and menus to appear.
Language: specify which language you would like Deepnet Explorer use.
Web: shows the web browser screen.
P2P: shows the P2P browser screen.
News: shows the News browser screen.

Tools menu

Customize: used to customize the buttons shown on the tabs and sidebar. For more on this feature click here.
P2P Browser Options: allows you to set upload and download directories as well as network settings.
Clean Up:

Clear Deepnet Explorer History: deletes the web sites you have visited that are stored on your computer.
Clear System History: deletes the history of your system usage such as files recently opened.
Clear Cookies: all the cookies stored on your computer.
Clear Auto Complete: deletes the history of text typed in to places on the net such as web forms and the address bar.
Clear Temporary Internet Files: deletes the temporary internet files from your computer.
Clear Website Icons: removes the web site icons that are stored in the favorites folder (irreversible).

Application Manager: allows you to add application shortcuts to the toolbar of Deepnet Explorer. For more on this feature click here.

Window menu

Home: switches from the tab containing your search results back to the default search pane.

Help

Content and Index: opens the Deepnet Explorer help guide.
Online Support: opens the Deepnet Explorer support page.
Diagnosis Report: opens a new email message addressed to Deepnet Explorer support in your default email client, enabling you to contact us with any queries you have and also attaching information of the version of Deepnet Explorer you are running along with system and process information. You are able to remove this attachment, however it aids our diagnosis of any problems you maybe having.
